Proof Of Experience (P.O.E.)
Proof of Experience solves the problem of authenticating and verifying real experiences. POE is a Dapp for demonstrating the practical application of non-fungible tokens in verifying educational credentials.
Project Description
POE is a Dapp for minting non-transferable NFT's that are tied to digital certificates, creating verifiable learning experiences backed by the Ethereum Blockchain. Ideally PoE will be a site similar to LinkedIn learning or Udemy but where all certifications will be immutable and uploaded onto the blockchain.
How it's Made
We built it using Nft.Storage to house all the metadata for our NFTs and we used Alchmey for testing on the Ropsten test network. Our project used OpenZepplin as a resource when creating our NFT smart contract and we used a create-eth-app boilerplate to get us started. The app is a React application interfacing with the backend using ethers.js
