Call Meta

This app is for associating time-based metainformation – specifically tags, chapter titles, and who is speaking – with a playing video. The user is presented with a list of chapters that are highlighted when active, and they can seek within that play time. Additionally, the list of available chapters can be filtered by tags and playing will only occur within that set.

The metadata is a simple JSON blob loaded from Ceramic. For discovery purposes, when a user creates a video for the first time an event is broadcast on the Polygon blockchain. The interface is relatively straightforward, but needs a significant overhaul to keep everything on the screen at one to make browsing easier.
