Project Description
The app is a repo of 1960's and 1970's popular music of the disco and classic rock genres. Users can store and retrieve audio and video files using IPFS for short-term storage and archive for long-term storage using Filecoin. This is done through the magic of Textile Hub. IPNS Links to the data files are created for quick and easy retrieval.
How it's Made
The app was made using next.js and Jimmy Lee's 'next-bucket' project as a basic template. Textile Hub is used to store files on IPFS for short-term storage where an IPNS link is created for retrieval. For longer term storage, the playlist files are archived on Filecoin via Textile Hub. File can retrieved using the IPFS link that is created when adding files to a particular Hub bucket.
