Project Description

Fractional NFT Royalties is an extension of 2981 and 1155 tokens which will allow users to subdivide their NFTs while still being given royalty payments. This can be used in situations where a person or group of people have created a piece of art and want to distribute their holdings. For example a person could choose to give their NFT or a portion of their NFT to family, friends, or a charity.

How it's Made

We built this project using a React app for the front end and Truffle suite with drizzle and ganache. It stores NFT metadata onto an IPFS node. Using IPFS was beneficial for NFT metadata storage because it allowed us to do this in an open and decentralized way that allows access to anyone.
