Silo
Make your crops an NFT, deliver it when the holder of the NFT redeems it.
Project Description
The main goal of the project is to enable cultivators to tokenize their crops. Once a ton of wheat is available on the markets as an NFT, it can be traded and redeemed. This would make the commodity market more liquid and solve an important issue that we recently met in Europe. Traders would simply deal with NFTs instead of to move boats around. Any holder of one of these NFTs can redeem it for real crops.
How it's Made
This projects uses the ERC-721 set of Solidity contracts provided by OpenZeppelin. The UI (in React) uses create-eth-app, useDApp, Web3.Storage, useNft and Chakra UI. The design of the app doesn't look good, but we successfully integrated Web3.Storage to handle the NFT metadata storage on-the-fly.
