A Map Centric NFT Marketplace for UAV image and video art, that features searching by location.
Project Description
At the nexus of technology and liberal arts sits this project that combines two of my passions: development with web 3 and creating media art with UAVs, plus travelling around the world. Here the center piece is the map that allows you to search for image and video NFTs by location. This has the power to transform the way we look at ourselves, to broaden our horizons and free us our limited, 2D, local worlds.
How it's Made
It's made with an NFT smart contract for the marketplace and ERC721. The Next.js app with Typescript and React.js presents an easy interface with a map. The NFTs are stored using IPFS nft.storage. The smart contracts are built to deploy on to the mumbai and mainnet polygon networks.
