NFTix is a decentralised event organizing app, for selling NFT-based tickets & enabling a secure resell market - to make it simple - the Eventbrite of blockchain.
How it works:
- It use NFTs for event ticket selling & fraud protection
- An organizer 👩🏽💼 creates an event
- Fans 👨👩👧👧 buy tickets on the event page created
- Ticket holders 👨👩👧👧 show their NFT at the venue
- Ticket holders 👨👩👧👧 can securely resell their tickets on NFT marketplaces (like OpenSea)
- Organizer 👩🏽💼 controls ticket price & resell conditions
How it's Made
It's a DApp built using Nextjs, TypeScript, Ethers and Solidity. It uses Polygon Network, IPFS, ENS and OpenSea.
All NFTs are stored on the Polygon Network
Event data & NFT metadata are persisted on IPFS
ENS is used for user-friendly naming, as well as to search by domain name when sending invites
Tickets are viewable (link in the UI), collectable and sellable on OpenSea
