Decentralize and develop a new way of online gambling where players own, visualize and exchange their bets like NFTs
Project Description
We wanted to create a betting website allowing users to participate on bets created on the plateform. The players would own their bets. They could decide between three universes (Sports, news, others). During the hackathon, we defined three bets (1 sports and 2 news) focus on French election, Costa Rica election and Curling championships.
How it's Made
We have made a custom contract deriving from ERC1155 OpenZeppelin standards to enable bettors to bet on events and be able to cash out winnings. The winning pot is the sum of the stakes of the bettors. We deployed on Polygon. We uploaded metadata and images to IPFS using Pinata Clould, for each possible bet.
