Hacking together a smart contract that can mint NFTs but with a twist!

The creator can mint nifties that can only be acquired by burning multiple other nifties. Users would have to collect series of token and redeem them for super exclusive token.

Use cases are multiple; video clips -> episode, songs -> album, ingredient -> game items, etc..

I first used Truffle to develop the smart contract and tried to test it using Ganache but gave up. I switched to Remix to deploy and did some tests.

The result is a generic contract that could be used anywhere.

On the front-end we tried web3.js and React but had troubles.

Moral of the story is don't try new tools if you want to be productive...
